*When in our music God is glorified, and adoration leaves no room for pride,
it is as though the whole creation cried, “Alleluia!”
In worship, music is not something only a few gifted people do; it’s an expression of joy for the entire congregation as we sing together great hymns of the faith old and new. In truth, there is no more special music than the music of the congregation.
How often, making music, we have found a new dimension in the world of sound,
as worship moved us to a more profound, “Alleluia!”
UPC’s choir – open to all interested high school/college students and adults – rehearses in the sanctuary each Sunday morning, 9:45-10:40 in preparation for weekly worship services. Additionally the choir provides music and worship leadership for seasons and services such as: Advent, Lent, Holy Week, Easter, Pentecost, and All Saints.
The music of University Presbyterian’s choir is both a gift from and an offering to God. We dedicate the gift of song to the glory of God.
Let every instrument be tuned for praise!
Let all rejoice who have a voice to raise!
And may God give us faith to sing always, “Alleluia! Amen.”
