REV. ERICA DURHAM UPC INTERIM PASTOR

Rev. Erica Durham officially started as UPC's Interim Minister on November 1, 2006. After having known Erica through her previous association with the Presbytery of Sheppards and Lapsley and having had her preach at UPC on several occassions, UPC was thrilled to have the opportunity to benefit from Erica's leadership throughout our time of discernment as we seek a permanent minister.

Erica graduated from Presbyterian College in 1993 with a BA in Religion/Christian Education. She received her Masters of Divinity degree from Columbia Theological Seminary in 1997.

Erica served the First Presbyterian Church of Kings Mountain, NC as student intern for the 1995/96 school year, and upon graduation served the Hills and Pine Ridge Presbyterian Churches in Pilot Mountain, NC, from 1997 to 2002 as solo pastor.

In July, 2002, Erica accepted the position of Resource Center Director for the Presbytery of Sheppards and Lapsley. In January, 2004, she accepted the position of Interim Associate Executive Presbyter for Mission Interpretation. The responsibilities of that position included staffing the Development Division, the Mission Division, and the Communication Committee as well as serving as Director of the Resource Center.
