The Strangely Wonderful Choir of UPC

URGENT: New Choir Members Needed

We have a superb and dedicated choir; However, it has been increasingly difficult to plan ahead with any specificity due to our relatively small group and their busy schedules. Therefore, this is a special invitation and an exhortation to join our choir, with a special need for sopranos and altos. If you or others you might know who might be looking to participate in such a meaningful relationship singing with our choir to worship our God, please contact:

Why Strangely? We are all volunteers, almost none of us have ever had any vocal training, we rehearse only one hour and 16 minutes each week, and we are unbalanced in our membership.

Why Wonderful? We have a spirit that transcends all of the above, we are open to mistakes and are therefore fearless, we give our best within our limitations, often the beauty and deep feeling of our singing helps to provide a level of worship that has depth and significance, and, even with the realization of all of the above, we retain our humility!

The choir usually rehearses at 9:30 a.m. on Sundays, but check the calendar in the Members Area for the most up-to-date rehearsal information, or contact the church directly.

All are welcome to join the choir. We are in particular need of sopranoes!
