ONE GREAT HOUR OF SHARING OFFERING Dear Friends, As we think about the meaning of Jesus’ promise of new life that we celebrate at Easter, will you reflect on the path we’re on together?
Through One Great Hour of Sharing, you share God’s love with our brothers and sisters around the world where poverty, disaster, and war cause displacement and suffering. Alleviating hunger and its systemic causes. Investing in people to address injustice in their communities. Responding to disasters. These are all ways your gifts are changing lives, changing communities, and changing the world.
Please GIVE this Sunday to One Great Hour of Sharing
Faithfully yours, Sam Locke, Director, Special Offerings, Presbyterian Mission Agency
EMPTY BOWLS’ REPORT Many thanks to all our volunteers who solicited donations of soups and bread; decorated, set-up and cleaned-up; publicized the event and sold tickets; and attended Empty Bowls. Over $1,300 was raised and 100% goes to our UPC Food Pantry. Thank you for helping us continue the ministry of feeding the hungry. And, special thanks to Ann Webb for once again taking the lead on this very important fund raiser.
